After tying-up with different companies of the country, recruitment fairs will be organized and online appointment letters will be given according to the capacity.

Rajkot. Saurashtra University will now be a medium to provide jobs to students. Proceedings in this regard will start from next January and will be completed in May. Then every year in the final year the student will pass and they will be given a job with a salary of Rs. 10 to 30 thousand according to their ability and skill. For this, tie-ups will be done with different companies of the country and after completing graduation, the university will offer a job to the student who will have the same skill and the segment in which the student wants to go. Would be helpful.

A recruitment fair will be held on campus every year

Giving further information in this regard, Dr. Mehul Rupani, a syndicate member of Saurashtra University, said that every year approximately 60,000 students pass in the last year. For example, if a student wants to get a job in a plastic factory and the student is a clerk or a technician, he will be given a job according to his skills.

 For this Uni. Recruitment fairs will also be held on campus every year as well as online processing for jobs. For this, planning has been started covering all the matters. The action plan will be completed by January 2021 and implementation will start from May 2021.

6 thousand companies will be contacted

Dr. Rupani said 6,000 companies would be approached and 100 different categories would be kept. The target will be to employ 10 students in one category. This will be followed by a three-month recruitment fair in January, February and March in collaboration with the state's labor and employment department and the rest will be processed. The facility will be made available to the student to get a job after completing the training by late May.

Hostel, canteen and classroom facilities will be increased so that 200 foreign students can study in the university.

Different P.G. of Saurashtra University. Barely 20 to 25 foreign students are currently studying in the buildings, but from the new academic session i.e. from 2021 a total of 200 foreign students and also students from countries including Europe, America, Australia have started the process to get admission in Saurashtra University.

For this, first of all, the infrastructure will be enhanced in which hostels, canteens and classrooms will be built in five star category as well as a professor who can speak and write good English will be appointed. So that foreign students will not have any problem in communication.
