Harin Matrawadia, Rajkot: Thus Rajkot is also considered a city of crimes. Incidents of small and big crimes have become commonplace here. Then another embarrassing case came up. On the 150-foot ring road, near Astha Circle, three persons broke into the years-old Melody Mataji's temple late at night, broke the CCTV camera and had a drink in the temple's Patangan. Anger spread among the devotees over the whole incident.

After the matter was reported to the police, the police conducted an investigation based on the CCTV footage.

It is said that Nitinbhai Sorthia, a resident of Mwdi area, was running the temple of Melody Mataji and as it was suspected that Nitinbhai would usurp the place of this temple, he had hatched a conspiracy to discredit Nitinbhai.

Last night, three Shakashas entered the temple, left empty bottles of liquor and vandalized items including CCTV, tube lights and fans. The trio made a video and went viral on social media to accuse Nitinbhai of drinking alcohol at the Shakasho temple.

However, when the entire video reached the police station, the police arrested Sanket Rathore, Ajay Rathore and Kamlesh Muchadia from the DVR footage.
