A woman working in Kanad village Wadi area of Sihor taluka of Bhavnagar district was crushed to death when a water tank collapsed on her. The incident is being investigated by the police. The people of Kanad village said that the owner of this wadi is former BJP state president Jitu Waghan. However, these matters are not official.

Family members and relatives rushed to Bhavnagar Hospital as soon as the incident was reported. The police were informed about this and rushed to the hospital and took necessary action.

They were shifted to Bhavnagar Sir T Hospital for treatment where both succumbed to their injuries. Meanwhile, former BJP state president Jitubhai Waghan said that he owns the farm but has given it to a man named Bharatbhai for the last several years. Upon learning of the incident, the police rushed to the hospital and took action including the PM.
