Corona is setting new records every day in the country. The number of corona positive patients has crossed 26 lakh by Sunday evening. The number of corona infected patients in India today has reached 26 lakh, 34 thousand and 256 respectively. In the last 24 hours, 44,574 new cases of corona have been reported. The virus has killed 865 people in the last 24 hours.

63 thousand new cases on Saturday

Speaking of Saturday, 63 thousand new patients have arrived. While 944 people were also killed. Speaking of the patients who have recovered in India, 19 lakh 04 thousand 612 patients have recovered so far.

Mortality fell to 1.93 percent

The good news is that there has been a decline in mortality and activism among the growing cases. Mortality has dropped to 1.93 percent. In addition, the number of active cases being treated has also come down to 26.16 per cent. With the recovery rate, the rate of recovery is 71.91 per cent. The recovery rate in India is steadily rising.

More than 6 lakh tests every day

More than seven lakh people were tested in a single day as the country's capacity to increase test samples increased. More than 2.90 crore tests have been done so far. The number of tests in the country is steadily increasing, the health ministry said. And India has been doing about 6 lakh tests every day in the last few days.

The highest number of cases of corona in these states

Looking at the state-wise corona statistics in India, Maharashtra has the highest number of cases. More than one and a half lakh infected people are being treated in Maharashtra. It is followed by Tamil Nadu at number two and Delhi at number three. Gujarat is at number four and West Bengal at number five. These states have the highest number of active cases, according to the health ministry.
