Complaints of low gas in LPG cylinders are frequent. However, no action is taken against the LPG agency drivers or the delivery man for making a complaint in this case. But no need to worry anymore. Now you can complain about consumer protection if the gas cylinder runs out prematurely. The Central Government has made it clear in Consumer Protection X 2019 that strict action will be taken against any gas distributor who violates the rights of the consumer.

Under the new law, if the LPG cylinder runs out prematurely, you can lodge a complaint directly with the distributor and if no action is taken, you can lodge a complaint directly in the consumer forum. Your complaint will be processed within one month.

Consumers get less LPG after implementation in 2019 under the Consumer Protection Act. LPG distributors will be prosecuted and their licenses will be revoked.
